For the next two weeks, Medic to Medic UCL will be running the largest student-led fundraising campaign that University College London has ever seen. We are aiming to raise more money than any other single campaign has done before.
We know students don't have that much money going spare, which is why we ask for just one pound each (that’s less than half a coffee!). If everyone at UCL acts together, as “one UCL”, we can make a huge difference to the people of Malawi. With one pound from every student at UCL, Medic To Medic can fund the training of 26 new doctors. Malawi currently has only 256 doctors serving 15 million people, so this would effectively increase Malawi's healthcare system by 10%!
To help get the word out we've been placing "One's" around campus. Combined with posters, we thought this would be a good way to get people’s attention - but we also need your help to spread the word. This can only work if everyone at UCL pulls together. So please tell your friends. Send them the link to this website on Twitter and Facebook. Thank you!
